New word arrives for the Councilors.

I, Giscard Guillaume, Lord of Lothbury Estate, Councilor of the Myrken Wood Judiciary In Regards To Commerce and Trade Etc., to His Honour Altias Bromn, Governor of Myrken Wood; to His Honour Suede Roschen, the Councilor of Agriculture; to His Honour Kerrak al'Nerun, the Councilor of Defence and Civil Security; to His Honour Aloisius Treadwell, the Councilor of Administrative Sanctions; to Thomas Daniels, Captain of the Myrken Wood Guard, Order of Straka; to Joshua Kilborn, Lieutenant of the Myrken Wood Guard, Order of Straka; to 'Cy' Proxemus, Representative of the Myrken Militia: Greetings.
As a foreword, commendations are in order for the good men of the Order of Straka, and also those who graciously give their time over to the Myrken Militia: without their recent efforts, Myrken Wood surely would not known the spate of restfulness and peace which we have recently enjoyed. To those gentlemen -- and to yourselves, Governor and Councilors -- the people of Myrken are surely in debt. However, it is not congratulations alone which prompt me to pen this missive today: nay, not congratulations, but hope. For there is surely not a man amongst us who has not said -- of only to himself -- that this surely cannot be a lasting peace, and yet I am privy to news which suggests that it can be made to be so.
I am informed by one Darius McClellan -- a recent visitor to my home Estate -- that the 'curse' often ascribed in jest to Myrken land is in fact quite genuine. Furthermore, McClellan claims to have identified its source: an un-named Evil sealed within Myrken Wood by means of the 'Demonstone', which device was at some point removed to distant Shadow Moon Isle. However, this Demonstone allegedly functions as an arcane beacon, drawing creatures of malice and ill-will to the place of its original creation: namely, our own dear Myrken.
The names mentioned at this point in our conversation were 'Baie' and 'Audmathus'.
In any case, this McClellan proposes an expedition to the Isle, to be led and staffed by Myrken volunteers, for he lacks the expertise for such an endeavour. He does, however, wish to accompany these men and women upon their journey, and offers his ship for their use; named Little Zephyr, it is moored at present in the northern bay.
Gentlemen, I repeat this proposal to you in the very manner to which it was originally offered to my ears, without comment upon its merits, if indeed it has any whatsoever. McClellan has taken up residence at the Broken Dagger inn -- an unfortunate coincidence, but not an unexpected one -- where questions may be directed towards him. In the meantime, I ask only your opinions on this matter.
Done by my hand at the Estates of Lothbury, this 6th day of September.
Giscard Guillaume.
