Letter to Treadwell: Tailoring a Presence

Suede had settled within his private room over that lovable, friendly, inviting shop of his settled admist the busier sections of the town proper. A candle dripped merrily beside him as he quickly, and without much thought, scried out a short letter to be bustled off to one of the remaining councilmen.

To Treadwell -

As I'm sure you're aware there's been several recent vacancies in the city council. I, being the concerned citizen and of a reasonable education, have thrown my proverbial hat into the ring, as it were. You may have seen several notifications of this scattered about Myrken, and the Dagger, denoting my desire to join the council, likely filling the position of the late O'Cynen.

This is my personal message to you to let you be personally made known, and to of course, ask for your support during the proper channels of bringing this to reality.

-Suede Roschen

PS. - Yes, I'll still be making your clothing as well.

The envelope was sealed and tossed to the side of the desk, where he could take it to the nearest errand boy when he had the time. For now, he had work to do.

Treadwell would certainly find the letter slipped under his office door at the Meetinghouse. Yes, Tready does indeed go to work there on occasion! It's with a haze of smoke around him and a grunted "Mmph mmph!" that the purple-fur-robed gent sits down to read. . . and reply.

Mr. Roschen,

Well, Suede! You do indeed have a last name, and, it seems, you have a bit of guts and courage as well! I certainly do wish you the best at this, of course; mind you, it does require a touch of experience for a job like this, something of which I have a great deal and something of which I'm not sure you have as much! All the same, though, I do wish you the best of luck, of course.

And, yes, I heartily expect you to continue making my clothing. You know the sizes, fabrics, and so forth that I and my wife prefer for me.
