Suede had talked with Treadwell the previous night, providing the man with some details concerning one Silent Order. After which he was asked to place the information down upon a letter for the councilor to read over and then present to the good Governer. The tailor's hope? To remove the threat against his wife, and maybe even help out the community a bit as a small bonus.
Good old Treadwell would receive a knocking on his door by one of the local messengers carrying said letter, which he'd take off quickly after deliver, Suede had payed the boy quite well.
The note was simply, just a folded piece of cheap paper, and a very bland red ink symbol. The writing itself was compact and sharp, making it a bit hard to read, the only saving grace being it wasn't a horrid chicken scratching.
Mr. Aloisius Horatio Treadwell
As per your request I recording the information I provided you with this past night into this letter. I do hope it can be presented to the governer and have, at the very least, this knowledge distributed where necessary.
Shortly before I arrived in town my wife, Aeri, found herself caring for a man suffering from feverinduced lack of judgement. This man revealed part of a plot to take control over politics across the region. The group planning this is known as the Silent Order.
Since she found this out she's been attacked numerous times, and it's believed the damage recently done to the Edificium was caused by one of these assaults. It seems the are quite insistent no one learns of their plans, and therefore I intend to let everyone I possibly can know about them.
The group itself can be identified by a green five-pointed star tattooed upon their hands, and seem to be originating from the region of Amasynia. They're goal is either to buy off and manipulate the government into favoring their families, of which we believe there are five... or to outright replace someone in political office with one of their own. This includes the governer position of Myrkenwood.
Though I doubt it would be wise to mention this to our current governer, they had offered me a bribe of being said replacement if I joined their organization, which would also leave my wife safe from their attacks. I refused of course.
The only other thing of significant note for the moment, is Tivalti or someone from his family is involved with this group. It is unlikely to be the man himself as he lacks the tattoo, but we have yet to see anyone else in the family.
There isn't too much left to the open eyes at the moment, and I lack resources others might have to delve into a deep search on these people. Thank you for your assistance, and please ensure that this information makes it to where it is needed.
