Addressed to every councilor *other* than Gad Phuri, delivered by the doc himself to their known places of residence to whomever answered the door:
Dear (insert name of councilor or governor),
I'd like to bring your attention to, for a moment, Councilor Gad Phuri. It has been confessed to me that he was Aloisius Treadwell - impersonating the original Gad Phuri for whatever reason around the governor's death.
Now, he also spoke of a magical power used on him that was told to him to be 'evolution'. At the time, he experienced slight physical changes - enough to change him, as far as outward appearances go, into Gad Phuri.
I hope this is old information to you. But the next part won't be...
This 'transformation' went on past the physical. He came to me earlier today claiming that much of his dieting habits had changed; that, for most of his life, he smoked a great deal, yet now he couldn't touch a cigar without being sick.
Also, that he was fond of vanilla now, when before it made him ill.
I witnessed, in the Edificium, Aloisius Treadwell's mental transformation into Gad Phuri.
In short, I believe Aloisius Treadwell is now Gad Phuri.
Memories, feelings, everything. He remembers, it seems, his time in Myrkenwood, but that's all he remembers - I asked him about Aloisius, and he told me of the man as Gad Phuri had met him.
I can't explain it any other way than magic; and I didn't get the name of the woman who was the source of the magic. I doubt he'll remember any of that now.
- sincerely, Doctor David D'Rael
