I, Altias Bromn, Governor of Myrken Wood do hereby call out to those still with the Myrken Wood Council. His Honour Suede Roschen, Councillor of Administrative Sanctions; Giscard Guillaume, Lord of Lothbury Estate, Councilor of the Myrken Wood Judiciary In Regards To Commerce and Trade Etc; His Honour Kerrak al'Nerun, the Councilor of Defence and Civil Security. And also to Tempestro Starr, Lord of Als'raeux Estate, High Councilor of the Tempestian General Council.
I, as Councilor Guillaume, must first apologize for my lengthy absence. I have returned, and am in better health than I have seen in years thanks to the care and consideration of both Doctor D'rael and our new Doctor, Michael Renne, as well as some talented healers. This is also a very long story best saved for times less urgent than these.
I would ask that each of you respond to this missive as quickly as possible. YOu will find these messages secured with two wax seals bearing my mark, as well as silken cords tying both inner and outer parchments. Should you find any of these things not as they should be, contact me immediately. Anyone found tampering with these messages will find themselves facing the Myrken Council on charges of high treason. These messages are for your eyes only.
This council must meet, and it must meet now. I ask that you send your fastest courier to me as soon as you have read this letter. We must meet within the next four days. This is of urgency for all of us. This will be a closed meeting, regarding the personal safety of the council members. The only non-council members I will see in chambers are Tempestro Starr and a single personal guard for each councilor. This is not negotiable. Should you wish not to be a party to this meeting, that is your choice, but know that it may be at the risk of your own well being.
I do hope you will come, as I consider each of you of great value to Myrken Wood, and a friend as well.
Done by my hand, this ninth day of December,
Altias Bromn

To Giscard Guillaume, Lord of Lothbury Estate, Councilor of the Myrken Wood Judiciary In Regards To Commerce and Trade Etc; His Honour Kerrak al'Nerun, the Councilor of Defence and Civil Security; and of course His Honour Altias Bromn the Governer Proper of Myrken Town,
I will, of course, be present at any time you request dear governer. But please, return my title to that of Agricultural Councilman. I think I prefer the position and would most of the remaining council feel the same in that regard. There is a confession I must make, I never had much intention of holding that council seat, but with the utter lack of activity from my fellow councilmen I needed to do something to draw each of you back into the light.
It would seem, even if it was not entirely by my own decree, that the action has created the success I needed.
Suede Roschen, Councilor of Agriculture and Acting Councilor of Administrative Sanctions.

There is reply given, and swiftly. The courtier that drops the silver scroll tube, sealed with wax, and perhaps something else. Though, was that a faint tinge of black on the faceless courtier's hand? (notably, poor Altias is the only one who can open it, anyone else, well..)
---
Altias,
I shall be there as soon as I can, and Corishar will be with me. Kohler is tending to a small affair on the coast, but hopefully can join if necessary. I was not aware of your absence, or your ill health. If we had known, we would have come sooner, or sent some sooner to help. Though, it seems, it would have been unecessary. However, be wary, as the silken cords you mentioned, one is partially frayed, and the other is of differen color. I assume they were the same color, no? But -- I think someone has tampered with mine. Send me a reply through my man, who has brought this note. Filgren is my personal courtier. He is of brown hair, middling height, and blue eyes. Tell him the weather in Tempestia is always stormy. If he laughs, it is really him. If he does not, then it is not Filgren. If you need anything else, do not hesitate to send word. I can be there, any time you like. Be well my friend. I hope you recover fully soon so we can talk and send a table on an uproar.
Your friend,
Tempestro Starr, Als'raeux Estate.

The letter that came back was plain and straight forward. There was no magnificent header, nor were there supercillious lines of ranking and nomenclature. The writing within was simple as well, just a few lines. Times like this... you only needed a few. The only thing to mark that it had come from the Councilor (other than the gruff soldier who carried it of course) was his personal seal set in wax that was a hue of deep crimson.

Altias,
I shall be there when you call. Worry not for that.
Kerrak
