In the early hours of a fine day in Myrkenwood a letter would arrive and be placed in an appropriate place addressed to Quincy the ex-janitor of the Broken Dagger and member of the Gray Lancers.
The contents of the letter were as follows:
Dear Quincy,
It is your friend, Ymir, who sends you this letter. My thoughts have, of course, turned towards my daughter who I left in your care. I am concerned for her well being, as well as your own.
Therefore I have decided to return to Myrkenwood in order to reunite with my daughter and ensure that everything is alright. Please expect my arrival in one to two weeks time.
I apologize that I could not get there sooner, but I am currently resting in the country of Thessilane as I have been wounded badly in the return voyage to Myrkenwood.
If you want to tell any of our old friends about my return, please do so. I feel I may need the comfort and help of friends in the near future. Please let anyone know that I am returning and prepare a room, if possible, at the Broken Dagger. I will pay you back if costs run high. I am travelling with a young man named Naj from my homeland.
