Hands trembled, fingers nervously creased the letters fold repeatedly as she made her way towards the barracks. Charliegh had been going to see a gaurd make the report face to face she'd had the chance, she had seen Kilborn in the dagger from a distance of course.... but she had not been able to bring herself to do it.

The barracks loomed in the distance suddenly and before too long she was leaving the letter in the hands of a gaurd with the stammered plea it be given to someone in authority

Neat flowing script etched the words in ink .

Sir....
My name is Charliegh Nelicquele and I am writting to report an injustice an attack made upon my person by one Elias Kranston. 11 days ago now .. when I tried to collect payment for wine he recieved from my winery for a third time he decided to in his words.... Teach me to be quiet to know my place
At this point the writting got a little shaky His idea of a lesson was to rape me. He likely expects i will remain silent tell no one in a way he is right . I tried to make this report in person but found it too difficult and rather distasteful. for me this letter was the only option I had for I do not wish him to get away with what he did

It was signed simply
Charliegh Nelicquele
and beneath that was drawn a bunch of grapes with a single leaf

The letter had fallen under the eyes of Captain Thomas Daniels. His eyes darted back and forth over the concise note before looking to the window of his office, sighing. Why couldn't people just be nice to each other?

Well, regardless of 'why', they weren't. That line of thinking didn't help much. Thomas looked over the letter again, front and back, for a return address of some sort, other than the name. Finding none, he frowned.

The captain reread the letter. Winery. Hmm. Perhaps the woman could be found that way.

The passing guardswoman nodded and continued her patrol, to undertake her task once she'd circled just once more around the Barracks.

Captain Thomas Daniels, on the other hand, began writing the warrant for the one Elias Kranston.[/color]
