Gilbert Cracket was still breathing heavy as he took the seat offered by the Sergeant , it seems even the slightest bit of activity such as running through the streets has this man quite out of breath. Gathering his thoughts he brings his tale.
"I arrived at the local boarding Establishment intended on meeting a man named Quiller about a purchase he wished to make from me. But upon arrival I discovered that Quiller is a Woman!! and a Gypsy at that!!..vile exscuses that they are!!"
He paused taking another breather
"She had the audasity to think she could do business with one of my standing!!...they should all be in chains i tell yah!, and I told her as much. Once she was sent away I endulged in a few sips of the spirits and awaited my dinner. After eating, i was feeling a bit on the sleepy side...and at only Quarter past nine! I was drugged i tell yah!!"
Another breather as the mans mood becomes excitable.
"Making it just barey to my room i feel into a deep slumber, and awoke close to the morn with what i thought to be movements in my room. I rushed to check my belongings and found the object that was up for sale missing!!...and then Bam!..I was struck on the head!!..It was her I tell yah!..That filthy Gypsy whore stoled my treasure!..."
His arms are flaying about as he eaps from the chair and has to be settled down by the Sergeant.
"My lively hood has been tarnshed and I demand justice!! I tell yah!"
He is quite livid now, and needs a moment to settled once more, though interestingly enough when questioned about what exactly the treasure was he baulks not truly wanting to get into it...After some coaxing from the Sergeant he reluctantly gives a brief description.
"itis a silver Goblet of Elvish Heritage, and upon it is enscribed an ancient prayer"
Well that is for the most part the truth..He left out a few of the more shady tidbits, like the fact that he was only a middle man shopping the Relic around for a client who wished to remain nameless, as well as the true origin of the Goblet. The Sergeant then proceeded to ask for a description of the women so they may question her on these matters.
" She Gypsy!!..how many of them do you have running free??.."
he asked astonished.
"Oh if you insist..she was tall 6 ft. at the least, with that colored skin they have, like a dark tan that never fades. and hair like unkepted coils dark red maybe auburn in coloring. And she dressed like a man!!..no skirt but trousers, no courset but a shirt! I'm not evn sure if she wore under clothing"
That last bit is whispred, as if saying those words embaressed the mans prudish nature.
"And most shocking of all she carried weaponary!!...vicious looking claw-like blades, and She didn't even try to hide this fact!! This territory is unbelievable..not only do you let these filth run freely, and eat with common proper folks, but you allow them to carry blades...there should be a law i tell yah!!
He pauses apprently his explanaton is finished...as he is looking at the Sergeant with quite a puzzled look upon his face.
"Well what are you planning on doing about this?!...OR should I go over your head!!"
Now he is shouting
"Is there a Captain about ?or someone of high enough ranking to not simply stare at me like a bluggard!!?
