Even now, she wasn't certain at all. Perhaps it was paranoia, for certainly the girl (really, she could no longer be called a child by any means) had a large measure of that. Still, there were instincts built into her very body, and these had saved her life before. And even Catch had been acting oddly... but then, did he not always act that way?

No. Something was wrong.

Frustrated, the tattooed girl sprang to her feet, reaching for her spear. This was getting her nowhere. A hunt would clear her mind, rid her of these worries.

And afterward, she'd get herself a hot chocolate at the tavern.

Yes, that would fix everything.
