Travilere

The Travilere Estate itself was of large scale. There seemed to be alot of activity within the confines of the looming building. Lanterns flickered in the halls, seen through tall glass windows. Shadows seen of figures would pass behind the dark drapes. The elf came ahead of the two, draped with the cloak of concealment. She would wait for Ravyn and Agrippi within the building she instructed them both to find her. It was far easier to meet and out of ones vision and hearing.

The cloak was removed and draped across her arm. Small hand lifted to brush back the long sterling locks from her vision. Her heart thumped loudly in her chest. She would be a fool if she did not admit she was scared. It could either mean their demise, or freedom now. The old stable was hardly used and she moved to the far side of it, waiting.

Agrippinilla would be the first to arrive at the estate. She looks the place over from her position in the woods, her usual brilliant red form is concealed under a black cloak, with the hood drawn up.

She had spotted Agrippi and moved the lantern near the window for her to spot only. The stable was facing away from the Estate so there was no chance of being spotted, or so she hoped.

Agrippinilla takes one last look around, then moves quickly from tree to tree, then from brush to brush to close in on the stable, and enter.

Aeri` nodded to her and lowered the lantern so it would not cast shadows. Your father should arrive soon, I hope. There seems to be some kind of festivity in the Estate from what i've seen so far, so a good diversion will do.

Agrippinilla nods slowly "I think he might have been intending to go underground. I think that I will be initiating the primary diversion."

Aeri` nods again. "Then shall we get started?"
Agrippinilla nods. "Certainly... we are charged with going in the front ways."

Aeri` nods and motions her closer to her. The cloak arranged again to cover over the both so entry of Estate without being seen will be without or little of problems. "Then shall we proceed?"

Agrippinilla nods "We shall. We need to find the main place where people are gathered."

Aeri` nods and lifts the cloak over the both of them. She herself moves behind Agrippi. I'll follow you then. Just don't move too fast.

Agrippinilla nods, then carefully moves to advance toward the building.

Aeri` follows her with alertness. Even if they both were concealed from view, their steps might be heard. She jerks to a halt and grasps Agrippi upon her sides to still her when a twig was stepped upon.

Agrippinilla winces a bit, glancing back to her. She shakes her head, then moves to pick a path with little to cause their steps to faltertheir steps

Aeri` sighs with relief and quickly follows. As they approach, voices are heard within the building. The latch if she tried it would be unlocked thankfully to allow guests to come and go. One would have a sense of being watched. The dark looming gargoyle statues at the enterance would give off such a feeling. The elf glanced up at them and gave an inward shiver. It was far to soon for her to return and she nearly froze in her tracks.

Agrippinilla frowns as she reaches to try to grasp Aeri, and pull her lightly along with her

Aeri` seemed to be in a paniced state or at least for a moment. Agrippi's grasp seemed to place her back into reality. She gulped the bile back down that threatened to be released. She felt sick and would surely faint, had it not been for her. She closed her eyes for a moment and took in deep breaths. Once her senses were regained, a nod was made and she continued on.

Agrippinilla leads her to the door, and within, heading through the halls, trying to keep out of the lines of traffic.

Aeri` continues to follow her, glancing about. The halls so familiar and it brought back the nightmares she faced each night in slumber. She could not worry of such now. Do the job and panic after. She bit down upon her tongue from screaming out and running off.

Agrippinilla heads further and further in, seeking out the place where people are gathering

She would note the brightly lit area that lead into the ballroom. The arrogant man was having a ball? Lord Lucius seemed to be in his cups and attempting to talk one of the commons into his bed chambers at that very moment. The girl seemed amused, but nothing more. Her hand lifted to flash the fan over her face to seem to hide a blush. The elf lofted a brow at this.

Agrippinilla chuckles darkly, then nods toward a door that SHOULD lead further into the building, indicating for her to go. She herself slips out and ducks under a table, out of sight.

Aeri` nods quickly. She did not wish to be caught by Lord Lucius. He was even worse than his own father. The cloak concealed her movements and she slipped off further down the hall.

Lucius was getting rather annoyed and impatient with the little twit. She had teased him all evening and now it was time to pay. He moved his arm quickly about her waist, whispering into her ear as he drew her closer. In return he was met with a knee to the groin. "Really now Lucius. My father would have your head if he caught us in such a position. Besides i'm just an innocent girl with no means of protecting herself."

Agrippinilla shakes her head as she listens to the goins on. She reaches into her duster pocket to withdraw a handful of small little beetles, each one a marvel of artwork, silver and gold and steel, set with little glowing ruby-like gems in their abdomens
<Aeri`> He grit his teeth and face turned a deep purplish red. Once the pain subsided, he snarled at her. Innocent? No means of protection? He hissed at her. Child, you are a tease and dangerous to mankind. I should have you whipped. The girl just laughed and tapped her closed fan under his chin. Oh really Lucius..I might just like it. The contained laughter that threatened to bubble in her throat released and she moved off slowly, flicking the fan back and forth in attempts to find one more interesting.

Agrippinilla carefully counts those bejeweled insects out, and they begin to skitter off in different directions.

Lucius was about to go after the little minx. He was not done with his evenings amusement yet. He was stopped however by a servant who announced that dinner was served.

Agrippinilla stays still until she sees the little golems move to each end of the room, setting up by each doorway.

In the meantime..Aeri continues to walk along the halls, carefully unlatching any possible entry for escape. She would try each door too and carefully peek into rooms.

Ravynlord approaches, though he does so from beneath. There might be heard by those sensitive enough, a distant rumbling beneath the earth.

The setting placed and the grand room placed for dinner. The servants scatter about to serve the guests. Abundance of food set before them fit for a king. A tap made upon the goblet within his grasp to get alls attention. His words slightly slured. "My good friends...we..welcome. Tis an honor and a pleasure to announce to you all of the new title I place upon me..since the untimely death of my father. I shall ever be called the Lord now and here on out." A silly grin placed upon his face as hushed silences is heard. He slumped back into his chair but managed to hold the goblet up high. His words rather premature since his father was still ever alive.

Agrippinilla curls her duster about herself, the silver glyphs shining just a bit as their fireproofing is activated. There's a faint 'brrt' from each of the small bejewled beetles, then each one explodes into a massive sphere of flame, some 20' across, each fireball centred on a doorway about the room. At about the same moment, a purple worm bursts forth from the floor of the lowest level.

Aeri knew the announcement well of Ravyn's approach. A sigh of relief made. Lucius however did not notice much in his drunken stupor. Instead he raved on how he deserved such a title and those that were undecided, stood and left the estate. Others however drew closer to him. A blink made as all chaos let loose however. Screams heard and ones seemed to scatter quickly. Lucius blinked at the explosions and was leaning back upon his chair, falling backwards in his process of attempting to stand.

Agrippinilla rolls out from under her table, moving toward Lucius, her katana drawn in one smooth motion. There's a crack as the antimagickal blade is drawn into the light.

Lucius eyes widen as he stares up at Agrippi. A panic attempt to stand as the katana is aimed towards him.

Ravynlord s purple worm is a reanimated carcass, but full size. It burrows through the rock, and would lunge itself as far as it could down the corridor it bursts into, before opening its maw. Regardless of whether anyone was there or not, the hollowed out interior of the worm would disgorge what appear to be rotted plants. Two shambling mounts preceed a pair of small Dark Treants, each one reanimated through terrible magicks. They begin to move down the hall toward the creature pens.

Agrippinilla would hop to her feet unless stopped, bringing Anathema in a two handed slash toward Lucius's neck.

The creatures heard the worm coming. They sensed it. Unearthly screeches heard, rumbling and echoing within the halls. The guests that remained either hid under tables or cowered behind closed doors. One poor man nearly fainted when the elf opened up the door and quickly shut it again. One would think spirts were about since she was under a cloak of concealment.

Ravynlord steps out after the reanimated treants, clad in Bone Mail. His face is obscured behind a skull shaped war helm, constructed of fused bones. He grips his cane like a sceptre, and on his left arm is gripped a large, boney shield. The mail is glyphed with Dark Symbols, each one glimmering red or blue, enchanted with the words of Dis. Behind him can be seen the last of the worm's contents, a pair of Clay Golems.

Lucius would duck or attempt to, raising his arms up for protection. The blade most likely cutting through his harms or nearly. A screm echoed within the halls and the creatures below could smell the blood let lose. The cells rattled and howls made.

Aeri continued to release any locked window latches and lifted them open. Any passing by would indeed think the estate was haunted. Scattered sounds of feet running in all directions as the chaos continued.

Agrippinilla slashes as cruelly as she might, continuing to move forward, intending to knock him to the ground with a body rush if possible.

Ravynlord steps along after the shambling, animated plants. The shambling mounts would move first, to confront the first of the creatures, reaching tendrils through the bars of whatever cage it is in.

Lucius's arm was cut nearly to the bone. His seemingly drunkiness was turned and he sobbered up quickly. His lips moving in silence as spells were attempted to be casted. The words seemed to be in latin.

The creatures would scream and hiss at the animated plants. Some eyed them and licked their lips in hunger.

Ravynlord s treants stand behind, each one behind one of the shambling mounds. The shamblers would attempt to ensnare the first of the creatures, and strangle if possible. Ravyn in the meantime, directed the two Golems to proceed down the hall toward the upper levels.

Agrippinilla draws her katana about, preparing for another slash. As she draws it back, she kicks toward Lucius's midsection with one heeled boot.

Lucius screams out and is kicked, knocking the wind out of him. He still fights for his life however, slipping a dagger from a wrist strap. The metal gleaming and he makes an attempt to slash at her with it.

The weakist of the creatures taken and strangled without much fight. The larger of the group would slash and hiss, attempting to tear the tentacles apart with talons and claws.

Agrippinilla leaps back as she's slashed with that dagger, it would cut through her leathers, revealing a thin weave of silvery metal beneath. Her wakizashi is drawn out of its sheathe and slashed at that extended hand in the same motion.

Ravynlord s shamblers begin to try to grapple about the things that grab their tentacles, at the same time the bulk of those animated plants get drawn up against the cages. The Dark Treants raise their wooden limbs, rubbing what pass for hands together. Druidic magicks would converge as the twisted servants of nature channel lightning forth into the shamblers, helping to heal their tearing limbs, and no doubt providing a shock to anything grasped.

The creatures would scream in agony and let go of said limbs. Some could not however and received a powerful jolt, slumping to the ground.

Lucius screamed out an unearthly screech as his hand was cut off clean through. The blood squirted about. His free hand grasping at the wound in attempts to stop the blood flow. The severed hand still grasped the blade and had fallen to the ground.

Agrippinilla casts a glance about to see if any are ready to come to Lucius's aid...

Ravynlord glances up the door into the upper corridors. He simply nods to the golems, "Go forth, kill any men you find besides myself, report to me after twenty minutes." The lumbering hulks then wander up the halls.

Most of the servants ran with the guests. Only a handful of men left about that would truely aid him now. Swords were drawn towards her and ready to strike if needed. Two stepped closer to her, while another set were near the opening doors. The massive wood would surely splitter however if the golems were to enter now.

Agrippinilla swings her katana in the men's direction, mostly to have them keep their distance. The Clay Golems would lumber along the halls, they'd only come through those doors if in fact those doors were near to the levels where the creatures were being kept.

Ravynlord s shamblers and treants continue to try to strangle what they could of the creatures within the cages. The shamblers themselves are unearthly strong, and when they are damaged, they back off a bit to let the Dark Treants repair them with lightning and plant growth spells. Ravyn himself simply looks on, keeping an eye out for any who might get out of the cages.

The servant that had kept Agrippi held for Lucius made a untimely and fateful approach, running into one of the golems. He had heard his -pets- screaming and ran to see what was amiss. Gray eyes would lift up once he regained his balance and stare at the golem. Pure fright seen.

The creatures were held at bay by the treants, all sav one that managed to break the lock upon it's cell. A massive roar made from such a small and odd creature. It was the same one Lucius threatened Agrippi to send off to her father. Rows upon rows of razor sharp teeth glitened from the torch light. A low hiss made as it advanced towards Ravyn.

The men were held back and Lucius screamed at them in his attempts to roll away from Agrippi. "Dogs! Cowards! You will pay for such insolence!"

The golems reach out to try to grasp the fellow, and wishbone him between them. Ravyn meanwhile backs away from the creature, toward the nearest stone wall. His macabre sceptre is grasped like a mace, while his shield is raised to provide some cover.

Agrippinilla smirks, thennn stabs her wakizashi toward Lucius's belly with her offhand, her katana still held in that defensive sweep.

Bone was heard cracking and a scream released from the mans lips. His form twisted and limp within the two Golems grasps. A trickle of blood slipping from the corner of his mouth and lifeless eyes stare out in horror.

The golems would simply drop him, then likely trample over his body on the way for more carnage.

The creature held back for a moment, studying Ravyn..then quickly advanced toward him..intent to leap and grasp upon him. Razor sharp teeth bared.

Lucius screamed in agony as the blade met it's fate, pludging into his belly. Eyes widened and he reached out to grasp at her arm with his still good hand. Words spoken in a low hiss. You could of been my queen...Blood poured from both wounds and seemed to pool around him. Lifeless blue eyes stared up at her.

The elf had witnessed such a scene. She came back to make sure Agrippi was alright. The exits released and attainable now. A sigh of relief made.

Ravynlord's mace swings, thoguh it is not to attack, rather the bone sceptre is traced in the air before him, scribing a Dark Glyph in the air before him. Blue'd lips spill forth in words that might be recognized as some sort of prayer. There's a faint tension of magick, then a spiral of blue flame, tinged with fallen souls spirals up around the bone armoured form, to provide Ravynetti a Sanctuary. Any attack would have to overcome a contest of Will with the necromancer to succeed.

Agrippinilla sneers as she twists the blade, then cuts it out sideways. She glances to the others "Let this be a warning to you, this house is cursed, as are all who followed it. Death will come for any who assist them in future."

The creature growled upon such attempts and landed upon the ground, just inches from Ravyn. It however did back off and seemed to study him again. It was not to be taken lightly for it had the cunningness of a hunter.

The few men that had stayed, backed away from Agrippi. The elf was so tempted to stick her foot out and trip the lot of them. They srambled however attempting to beat one another to the door. It was nearly a comical scene and it took everything the elf had not to burst out laughing from her concealment now.

Agrippinilla stands, her crimson clad form now likely clearly visible. She sneers faintly, before turning to walk down one hall, swords still drawn.

Ravynlord is already set to casting again, his sceptre tracing through the air as his words spill forth, his voice chill and sepulchural, like some grave wind.

The creature again studies him..seemingly to move a step backwards as if it didn't wish to fight no longer. The body of the servant sniffed upon and the creature growled low. It's tormentor dead. It moved back towards Ravyn once more, seemingly to bow before him.

The elf raced after Agrippi and kept behind her heels.

Ravynlord raises his bone Sceptre in his right hand. The skulls which form the 'head' of the mace erupt in an ethereal blue flame, that casts a strange dark glow about. He speaks in that same voice. "Depart here, and if I see you within this realm again then Dis shall claim you as well."

Agrippinilla goes room to room, looking for any who remain within.

The halls nearly deserted, sav for the remaining servants. They were frightened and were not sure where to go or what to do.

The creature bows once more to him. A serious of growls and low grunts heard and a red misty circle is seen before him. The creature by it's own rights was a mage in the plane it came from...taken and enslaved by Lucius and his father. Within moments, it stepped into the circle and seemed to merely disappear. The bondage broken when Lucius's death was sensed.

Agrippinilla looks into each room in turn, and upon finding no one, she turns to walk with the golems back to Ravyn.

Only then did the elf reveal herself from under the cloak. A soft smile given to Ravyn and Agrippi. Seems to be that your work is done here. Shall we go home now? A smug look given.* Ravynlord nods slowly "Yes, I think that'd be best... Before anyone realizes what happened." He smiles to Aeri, then offers his hand, stepping back to the tunnel left by the Purple Worm."

Agrippinilla chuckles "I'm heading back to the asylum, to finish some Business."

Aeri` would gladly take Ravyn's hand and move off with him into the tunnels. A look over her shoulder made and a silent thank you to Agrippi before heading off with Ravyn into the tunnels.

Agrippi winked at the elf and blew a kiss before heading off back to the Asylum.
