Perfectly simple, perfectly concise -- as best suits the matter they will address, and the terms of it. The runner will linger for a time after delivering this, shifting from foot to grubby foot, a young lad with palms that itch for parchment or coins or both.

The boy is given a signal to stay, and then an aide delivers a sealed parchment and a few coppers in return -- a standard tip -- with instructions to deliver it in return to Ariane.
