He focused much in his conversations on his experience in the areas of Trade and Commerce - and the fact that he was a Myrkener, born and raised (unlike one of his competitors, who was so newly come to Myrken Wood).
Some people might hear from his pretty daughter, while she played her lute. She made mention of Rameriz as well - was he not related to Ms. Rameriz, the Governor's guard? Weren't they all from Collingford? Now, perhaps Helstone was a fine gentleman indeed, but really. How much outside influence did they need on the council? They had that with the insane Kerrak - and wasn't Roschen originally from Thessilane as well?
So the word on the street goes.
