Sitting silently in the back of the tavern, a small quill was withdrawn as well as a few pieces of parchment. She was silent as she wrote the 2 small notes, her leather gloves creaking as she worked to write the best she could.
Master Ebswood,
Years back, Sir Tyralor set me up with you as an employer, copying the pages of what books you provided me. If you still wish one to help with your works, please inform me, I would greatly appreciate the work, Katalin.
She looked to the first and started on the second, just in case.
To the patrons and clientle of the Dagger,
I am a young hardworking woman looking for work. Will do anything reasonable for pay, or for room and board. I have worked with horses, writting as well as on the battle field. Please contact me if you have any questions, thank you. Katalin Lee Qual.
She knew not who was still around, but she hoped there was at least one she knew who would see her memos. A deep breath was drawn in, her wings wrapped securly about her upper body as she relaxed within the shadows of the tavern. She for now would wait, but would check back day to day to see if there was any work in the small town. There had to be something..right?

Beneath the young woman’s two notes, was posted a third. Simple, concise and right to the point, the note was penned in an elegant hand on expensive parchment.
I have the need to hire a replacement for an employee on my estate. I shall look for you in the Dagger to discuss the possibility.

A young man -- dressed as a dandy in black and scarlet, with spit-shined black boots, wire-rimmed spectacles and smooth, perfect hair tied at his neck with a black ribbon -- pauses in front of Katalin's note, index finger tapping idly, an interested twist to his mouth. He retrieves a quill and pen from the briefcase he carries and writes in a constrained, well-practiced hand.
Miss Katalin --
I am looking to employ a clerk and courier. Please come to my office on South Street in Myrkentown to discuss possibilities.
Sincerely,
Coriolanus Helstone, Esq., lawyer and barrister
Satisfied, he posts the message under Aeron's, picks up the briefcase, and walks out of the Dagger.

Katalin smiled as she saw the other note, but hesitated. She had dropped by the office twice now to deliver the message personally, yet both times she had arrived far to late in the eve. A small note was left on the lawyers door before she quietly headed back to the estate.
Dear Coriolanus Helstone,
I appologise for not getting back to you sooner, seems to be bad timing on my part. I thank you deeply for the offer, but I must appologise as well. I have recently been employed full time, though if you do need a courier for odd jobs, it would be my pleasure. If you need to get ahold of me, please leave a message at the tavern, that is if we keep mising eachother.
Thank you again and my appologies
Katalin L. Qual
She thought over the note as she got back to the estate, her hands moving to unlock the barn doors before she did her rounds for the day. One more mare ready to foal, and a stallion, her stallion, resting within the shade of an old elm tree. After her chores were complete, she would rest with the Nightmare not far from the dagger, grooming him and telling the stallion of the recent events. There, for most of the day she would rest, and as the sun fell later that eve, she could be found near the tavern, probally with wine in hand.
