Setting Affairs in Order

Doctor David D'Rael had wasted little time reinstating himself at the Rememdium Edificium, and even less time working on the concoction he'd discovered that helped victims overcome the Blood Flux; there was hope to improve upon it, even. Unfortunately, there was no extra time for experimentation when the Edificium's own staff was in disarray, sick and overworked.

Janessa was the first of his attention, warned beforehand of her own ills; David didn't know about Bryce's incident, but he'd likely learn soon and that would be the next to address. There were many people in need of healing, which is why it made sense to heal the healers.

Home for only a few days, and already only a few hours sleep to speak for it.

Janis Williams hadn't spoken to her superiors about her research. Hadn't spoken to anyone about it, actually, save for the tavern's D'ran. She wasn't quite sure what to think of the whole switch of uniform, but she decided to reserve judgement; Kerrak al'Nerun was as close to a friend as the Order of Straka ever got in the Council, at any rate.

Oh, and her research had been fruitful. She had turned to a darker art Janis would never have considered without the Dark Elves' declaration of war. Without their brutal, stealthy assaults. The guardwoman stepped behind a bookcase in the Library of Mudd and walked into the hall not far from where Kerrak al'Nerun had setup in the Barracks.

Janis went to speak with the Captain, stopping to address one of the men outside his door - Julian, or Farris, or something like that. Janis was usually good with names, but the sudden influx of Thessaline soldiers...well, again, she'd reserve judgement.
"Is the Captain in? I need to have a word with him."
